At a medium quality standard, much better results can be achieved with Wax Resin Ribbon on shiny surfaces that Wax Ribbon cannot hold.
Resin
It is the most durable type of Ribbon. It can resist abrasion and some chemicals.

D110A can be used on care labels and is resistant to heavy wash
B110A
B110A can be used on care labels but it is not resistant to heavy wash
